Maesteg's annual Christmas Parade is set to take place on Saturday 7th December 2013.
Beginning with carols by local primary schools at the Council Office steps from 10am, the day is set to be jam-packed. Throughout the morning, the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and past Mayor will be judging the increasingly competitive shop window competition.
At the same time, Maesteg Town Hall will be hosting their annual Christmas Fayre with a range of craft stalls and bits and pieces, ideal for last-minute Christmas presents.
The parade is set to leave the old Cosi/Budelpack site at 3.45pm, winding its way to town for the official switching on of the Christmas lights at 4.30 by the Mayor and the winner of the poster competition.
