Maesteg Town Council is happy to advise that we will be running an 18-month trial bus service from Maesteg Park Estate & Oakwood Estate to the bus station in the town centre.
This is a trial service which we hope will be well-used in the route area. We welcome feedback on the service when it’s up and running and will be liaising regularly with users and the service provider to make tweaks where possible and appropriate.
The trial service will initially run on Tuesdays & Fridays and will be free of charge for all residents, but the Council do reserve the right to request a donation for the continuation of the service in the future. If the route becomes well used there may be a possibility within the trial period for additional areas to be included and extra days and times being extended.
The trial period will start on Tuesday 27th February 2024 and the timetable is as follows, N.B. Timetable updated to begin on 22nd October 2024 to include Maesteg Hospital and drop off on Commercial Street:
