To lead on delivery of the Maesteg Placemaking Plan, Bridgend County Borough Council has appointed consultants Mott MacDonald.

An important part of the process is to engage and consult with local people to get a true picture of the area and understand the towns strengths, weaknesses opportunities and threats. Businesses and residents are invited to complete an online an survey which will remain open until the 4^th October 23.

A Placemaking Plan is a key strategic document setting out a common vision for investment and interventions in Maesteg town centre. Over time, the Placemaking Plan will help the council unlock an array of regeneration projects to ensure the town centre is sustainable, vibrant and attractive for all users for many years to come.
